Objective of the project

  Completing and applying new technologies in controlling the lighting for pilot production of high efficient lighting products (fluorescent lighting and LED lighting products), including:

+ Completing and applying PFC techniques and PWM techniques for designing and producing switching power supplies for LED commercial lamp with high efficiency (using in families, Offices, workshops…), on such basis, supporting the enterprises to create high efficient lighting products with sufficient competitive strength in the market.

+ Completing the techniques for improving the reliability and lifespan of switching source for LED lamp, step by step applying technology of automatically adjusting use power (dimming) for high-grade commercial lighting products.

Attained result

  The subject was accepted at the level of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, grade: excellent.

Main results of the subject:

-         On science:

     + Completed the research of thermal regime of MOSFET and completed technical solutions for reducing heat for MOSFET in power supply for LED lamp with capacity below 100W.

     + Completed the research, completion of technical solutions for treating Ringing frequency in power supply set for LED lamp with capacity below 100W.

     + Completed the pilot production of 65 switching power supplies and 60 LED desktop sample lamp sets RL05, RL10, RL11; LED ceiling lamp, LED round lamp, LED lamp for lane, hamlet, LED floodlight (under the cooperation program with Rang Dong).

     + Completed the survey, evaluation on stability and reliability of 60 LED lamp sets RL05, RL10, RL11; 20W LED ceiling lamp; 7W LED round lamp set; 30W LED lamp set for lane, hamlet and proposed completion option.

     + Completed the survey, evaluation on optical parameter of 60 LED lamp sets RL05, RL10, RL11; 20W LED ceiling lamp; 7W LED round lamp set; 30W LED lamp set for lane, hamlet and proposed completion option.

     + Completed the research, completion of 60 switching power supplies and 60 LED sample sets for desktop lamp sets RL05, RL10, RL11; 20W LED ceiling lamp, 7W LED round lamp, 30W LED lamp for lane, hamlet.

     + Completed the building of basic standard set (factory level) for LED desktop lamp; LED ceiling lamp, LED lamp for lane, hamlet.

     + Completed the design of electronic ballast with high efficiency for T8 fluorescent lamp having power factor PF > 0.97, efficiency of power supply > 92%, attaining the objective of reducing the total loss on power supply to below 10% (including reactive loss and loss on power supply).

     + Completed the production of 270 sets of LED desktop lamp RL05, RL10, RL11; 20W LED ceiling lamp set; 7W LED round lamp set; 30W LED lamp set for lane, hamlet. 

     + Completed the production of 14,236 T8 high efficiency fluorescent lamp sets using electronic ballast sets stated above.

-         On application: 

     + Supplied to the market 270 LED desktop lamp sets RL05, RL10, RL11; 20W LED ceiling lamp set; 7W LED round lamp set; 30W LED lamp set for lane, hamlet.

     + Two special subject reports contributed to solving the over-heat matter of MOSFET in particular and switching in general in the power supply sets as well as restraining and controlling ringing fluctuation at the switching, since then improving the reliability and stability of power supply sets and improving considerably efficiency of power supply set.

     + Supplied 14,236 T8 high efficiency fluorescent lamp sets (enclosed with electronic ballast sets stated above) for 1200 classrooms at 150 schools of Thai Binh province for National Objective Program on Energy Preservation and Saving.

Specifically delivered product

 - Product:

     + Researching thermal regime of MOSFET and completing technical solutions for reducing heat for MOSFET in the power supply for LED lamp with capacity below 100W;

     + Researching the completion of technical solutions for treating Ringing frequency in power supply for LED lamp with capacity below 100W;

     + Summarizing the technological completion research results in pilot production of LED lamp sets;

     + Summarizing pilot production result of LED lamp sets;

     + Producing and supplying dedicated lighting lamp sets with high efficiency for schools (Result of contra activities);

     + Summarizing the project.

    - Commodity product:

     + Switching power supplies for 07 types of LED lamps. Switching power supplies have power factor greater than 0.95, operate stably in voltage range from 175 VAC to 265 VAC, allowing saving from 30% to 60% power compared to existing lighting equipment in the market;

     + 07 types of LED sample lamp (desktop lamp, LED round lamp, LED lamp for lane, hamlet and LED floodlight);
